Marble bust of Francesco I d’Este, Duke of Modena, by Bernini, 1652.
The bust is the beneficiary of a crowdfunding campaign which is raising funds to build a “bespoke seismic pedestal” which will allow the sculpture to be once again put on public display.
Do we need to donate money so a marble bust in Italy by Bernini can be on display without getting damaged by earthquakes?
You are goddamn fucking right we do.
I donated $100.
